Viña Costeira
The region of Ribeiro is inland from the Galician coast and has warmer summers. Viña Costeira is a quality focused co-op producing a range of wines based on local varieties, Albariño is the best known but others such as Treixadura and Godello are prized for their white wines while the red Alén da Istoria is produced from a blend including Mencia. The wines are characterised by a soft, friendly ripeness with refreshingly lower levels of alcohol than is the norm nowadays.
Alén da Istoria
Viña Costeira's Alén da Istoria is a deep and aromatic red wine, crafted from the finest grapes in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. The vineyard is surrounded by rolling hills and lush vineyards, and the wine has been aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months, resulting in intense aromas and flavors. On the palate, it has a full-bodied character with notes of blackberry, plum, and spice, balanced by a pleasant acidity. This is a complex and delicious wine that is sure to please any red wine lover.
Maruxía
Maruxía, our latest white wine from Viña Costeira, is a delightful journey through the Spanish countryside. This crisp, dry white is brimming with notes of citrus and melon, as well as a hint of honey and herbs. With a balanced acidity, Maruxía pairs perfectly with seafood, poultry, and lighter dishes. Delight in the smooth, satisfying finish and let Maruxía take you on a tour of the best of Spain.
