  • Bodegas Alta Alella

    Alta Alella is a dynamic and innovative winery, beautifully situated in a natural park close to Barcelona. The Pujol-Busquets Guilléns family are dedicated to their environment and their organic vineyards from which they produce an extensive range of wines, including some of the very best Cava. In addition to their organic range of wines, driven by daughter Mireia, they also produce a range of natural wines called Celler de les Aus which celebrate the wild bird life of the area.

  • Palacio de Fefiñanes

    Situated in the seafaring town of Cambados, in Galicia, on Spain’s north west coast, Fefiñanes is the winery that established the reputation of the Rias Baixas region and the Albariño grape as Spain’s most elegant white wine. Their first vintage was 1928 and as their centenary approaches, Fefiñanes is undoubtedly the benchmark wine of the area. The wine is graceful, it’s flavour underpinned by the saline minerality of the rocky Atlantic coast.

  • Viña Costeira

    The region of Ribeiro is inland from the Galician coast and has warmer summers. Viña Costeira is a quality focused co-op producing a range of wines based on local varieties, Albariño is the best known but others such as Treixadura and Godello are prized for their white wines while the red Alén da Istoria is produced from a blend including Mencia. The wines are characterised by a soft, friendly ripeness with refreshingly lower levels of alcohol than is the norm nowadays.

  • Bodega Martínsancho

    Martínsancho has quite a big reputation for a small winery. Angel Roriguez, father of the current owners was awarded a medal for agriculture by King Juan Carlos for his efforts to protect and preserve his indegenious Verdejo vines in the 1960's. The wine comes from very old vines with deep roots. Never irrigated, it has complexity and refinement beyond most in the region. Organic principles are followed in the vineyard and minimal intervention is practised in the cellar.

  • Bodega César Príncipe

    Ignacio Príncipe is a winemaker determined to put the little known region of Cigales on the map. Cigales is on the outskirts of Valladolid and for too long has been overshadowed by the Ribera del Duero. These suberb wines are both 100% Tempranillo (Tinto Fino). 13 Cántaros Nicolás is younger and more supple. The main wine, César Príncipe honoring Ignacio's grandfather and produced from 100 year old bush vines is deep, intense and ripe.

  • Domaine Régnier-David

    This family estate in the central Loire region was one of the early adopters of organic farming in the 1970’s under the management of it’s founder Maurice Régnier, father of the current owner, Jean-François. It is along this stretch of the famous river that Chenin Balnc is at home. The estate is now certified biodynamic and Jean-François practices minimum intervention in the cellar.

  • RESALTE DE PEÑAFIEL

    In the village of Peñafiel, the heart of the Ribera del Duero region is where one finds Bodegas Resalte. Here, Tempranillo is king and this winery expresses the full range that this grape offers. Peña Roble is the juicy young wine, easy to drink. The Resalte label is the more classic style with longer ageing and more complexity.

  • RUI ROBOREDO MADEIRA

    The Portuguese region Beira Interior is high in the Douro, surrounded by the county’s highest peaks. It is here that the cool nights slow down the ripening process to produce grapes with more acidity than is achieved in the lower, warmer regions. The resulting wine is fresh, elegant and medium bodied.

    Wilfried's estate has a long family history dating back to the 18th century. Réjane and Wilfried Pouzoulas (brother and sister) took over the estate at the end of the 90's. As conscientious winemakers of the climatic issues, their intention is simply to create a favourable environment from which the vine can grow naturally and give the best of its fruits.
